what can i swap with?
swap your cool, interesting, and fun gently used clothing. we’re size and gender-inclusive, always.
torn, stained, smelly, and/or offensive clothing doesn’t belong on our table! we're phasing out clothes from fast fashion and focusing on higher quality pieces.
ultimately, we want this to be a space where you bring and find stuff you would share with friends, not throw in the trash.

can i get stuff without sending in anything to swap?
yes! you can still grab stuff from our table and pay for a thrift bag (+ shipping) instead.
how do the bag fees work?
we don’t charge for individual pieces of clothing, just like in-person swaps. our bag fees keep our operation running; it covers things like warehouse storage, shipping, and processing swaps. we'd like to pay our bills! most importantly, it builds a business where we can pay our team a living wage.
do you authenticate/verify designer brands?
we rely on swapped items sent in by our community and we can’t make any guarantees on the authenticity of branded clothing items. but we hope you get lucky with some extra exciting finds!
why shouldn’t i just drop my stuff off at a thrift store?
a lot of good clothes get lost in the shuffle instead of being reworn. our swap process maximizes the number of pieces that find a new home. our ultimate goal is to reduce the 85% of secondhand clothes that go into landfills (yes, including the stuff you drop off at Goodwill).
also, we’re building a fun community where cool people exchange cool clothes :)
do you offer rentals?
for now, no. we’re exploring the impact of clothing rentals and may decide to pilot that in the future. if you have thoughts you’d like to share, we’re open to hearing it! @phirse.app on insta or phirse.us@gmail.com.
what is the return/exchange policy?
our goal is to replicate a clothing swap experience online. just like in an in-person swap, there are no returns or exchanges. however, you are welcome to include any pieces you don't want in your next swap! if something is really wrong, DM us @phirse.app and we'll work it out with ya.
how does shipping work?
we charge shipping when you are receiving swap or thrift items. for now, you can choose if you're able to cover shipping costs for what you send in, or if you'd like us to do that.
